This project located in West Texas consisted of converting an existing 138-kV single bus radial tap substation to a three-breaker ring bus equipped with modern solid state protection and controls, and real-time monitoring. SEnergy is providing turnkey services for: 1) engineering and design of the complete 138-kV ring bus substation and transmission line cut-in including all required permits; 2) procuring all material and equipment; and 3) construction including site grading and development. SE’s Scope of services included: Turn-Key Engineering and Design including Civil/Structural, Electrical, Relaying and Control, Telecommunications, and Transmission engineering and self-supported structure design; Material Procurement; Construction Oversight and Inspection; and “As-Built” Drawings.
