EPC / Owner’s Engineer for Multiple Distribution Projects

SEnergy was the Owner’s representative during construction for these projects located in West Texas, serving as the liason between the contractor and Owner. SEnergy was responsible for the engineering, material procurement, and construction, and performed site visits during the various stages of construction to check the quality of work. SEnergy’s scope of work also included field staking, review of drawings, advising the Owner of findings, conclusions, and recommendations, as well as performing the final inspections. PROJECT 1: Construct approximately 0.3 miles of three-phase 1/0 ACSR (Raven) overhead primary, install one, three-phase transformer bank (3-15 kVA, 12.47 kV-277/480V) and two, three-phase transformer banks (3-5 kV A, 12.47 kV-277 /480V); Construct one three-phase riser (underground dip pole) with fuse cutouts and fuse links, construct approximately 77 feet of three-phase, 1/0 AL underground primary (insulated for 25 kV) in 3, 2″ schedule 80 conduits, and install one three-phase, 1,000 kVA pad mount transformer (12.47 /21.6 kV Wye -480/277V Wye). PROJECT 2: Construct approximately 1.8 miles of three-phase 1/0 ACSR (Raven) overhead primary, and install ten three-phase transformer banks (3-5 kV A, 12.47 kV-277 /480V). PROJECT 3: Construct 504 feet of three-phase, 1/0 ACSR overhead primary, construct one, three-phase riser (underground dip pole) with fuse cutouts and fuse links, construct 144 feet of three-phase, 1/0 AL underground primary (insulated for 25 kV) in 3, 2″ schedule 80 conduits and install one, three-phase 1,000 kVA pad mount transformer (dual voltage primary, 12.47 x 21.6 kV Wye – 480/277V Wye). PROJECT 4: Construct approximately 4.24 miles of three-phase, 1/0 ACSR (Raven) overhead primary, install eight three-phase transformer banks (3-25 kVA, 14.4 kV-277/480V, 5-37.5 kVA, 14.4 kV-277/480V), install one, three-phase pad mount transformer (1,500 kVA, 14.4/24.9 kV-277-480V) with riser pole and underground distribution from riser to pad mount, and install riser and underground distribution to future generator step-up transformer. PROJECT 5: Construct approximately 2,700 feet of three-phase 1/0 ACSR (Raven) overhead primary, and install one, three-phase, riser pole and assembly, approximately 383 feet of 1/0, 25 kV AL URD from the riser to the pad mount transformer pad and one, three-phase, 200-amp, 25 kV, two-way junction box.
