SEnergy is proud to share the near completion of a comprehensive Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project for a valued Client. This high-impact infrastructure initiative included the development of a Plant Substation, 3.5 miles of 138kV Single Circuit Transmission Line, and a 138kV (3) GCB Switching Station Point of Interconnection (POI) for shared systems. The goal of this project was to enhance grid reliability and support long-term energy distribution goals.
Project Overview
The project began with preliminary engineering, where SEnergy developed general arrangement drawings, transmission line profiles, and a comprehensive relay scheme, while also specifying and procuring long lead equipment. In the detailed design phase, we produced foundation and structure drawings, grounding and lightning protection plans, and conduit and cable layouts.
In addition, SEnergy supervised contractors during construction and commissioning. We conducted inspections, provided engineering and manufacturer support, and delivered on-site training. This ensured safe operation and proper maintenance of all substation equipment. Our hands-on approach supported quality control and kept the project aligned with timelines.
